Yes, indeed people have hard time embracing change once they feel comfortable with a product or a service. Especially the more senior and wise are users the more they don’t like drastic changes.

However, aesthetics does not necessary mean flashy and colorful world changing competitive product. It can be very subtle change that makes the difference.

Sometimes we just need “1 degree” change in the direction/design and we can end up in a different destination.
